About PSEC

Process System Engineering Competition (PSEC) is one out of the five branches of competitions held by Process and Green Engineering Days (PGD) UI 2025. PSEC provides a platform for students from chemical, bioprocess, and process engineering majors all around the world to develop solutions to an open problem within the realms of energy and process engineering by utilizing a process simulator. This competition aims to sharpen participants’ ability to analyze and solve the problems with precise assumptions by harnessing the power of process simulators as tools for generating industrial scale production. In this competition, participants are free to explore and give their creative and innovative alternative process designs according to the related topic.
